The fine print, in plain language
- The subscription is billed yearly per venue, excl. VAT, by invoice.
- The free trial ends after 30 days or at your plan's trial volume, whichever comes first. Your first invoice comes after the trial.
- The commission is computed on the order subtotal, only on successfully paid orders. Tips are excluded, and a refund returns our commission too.
- Stripe bills its processing fees and any chargeback costs directly to you; every fee is itemized in your Stripe dashboard.
- You can change plans any time; the commission adjusts from the next order. Take-Away includes a single QR point, so switching down to it means deactivating your other tables first.
Pricing questions
What does a paid order really cost?
Settle's commission, between 0.5% and 0.9% depending on your plan, plus payment processing at published rates. Both are itemized, per order.
Why is payment processing separate?
Transparency. Processing is billed at the same published rates every Swiss business gets, and Settle adds nothing on top. You never pay a hidden blended rate.
How does the free trial work?
Full product, free subscription, for 30 days or until you reach your plan's trial volume. Only the small per-order commission applies. After the trial, your yearly invoice starts.
Do you take a cut of tips?
Never. Tips sit outside VAT and outside our commission. Payment processing applies to the full payment, tip included, at published rates; beyond that, the tip is your team's.
