Your regulars do not need a middleman

A delivery platform earns its commission on a guest who found you there. On the third order from the same person, it is still earning it. That is the part worth changing.

The honest version

This is not “leave the marketplace”

Marketplaces do something real: they put you in front of people who have never heard of you, and they charge for it. That trade makes sense for a first order.

It makes less sense the fourth time the same household orders the same Thursday pizza. They already know your name, they already chose you — and the commission is charged again anyway.

So the question is not whether to leave. It is whether the customers you already earned should keep arriving through somebody else's checkout.

What a direct order costs

Your own ordering page runs on a subscription from CHF 29 a month and a commission of 0.9% on the order subtotal. Tips are excluded, and a refund returns the commission too.

The subscription

A flat monthly fee per venue, billed yearly. It does not move with your volume, which is the whole point — a busy month costs the same as a quiet one.

The commission

A fraction of a percent of the order subtotal. It is what pays for the ordering page, the kitchen screen and the receipts; it is not a share of your business.

Card fees

Billed by Stripe directly to you, at their published rates. We add nothing on top and never touch them — they appear in your own Stripe dashboard, itemised.

Card processing is charged by Stripe at its published Swiss rates, not by us. Marketplace commissions normally already include it, so count it when you compare. See Stripe's Swiss rates

How a regular finds you directly

  1. 01

A QR and a short code on the bag or the receipt

  2. 02

A button on your own website, pasted once

  3. 03

The link in your social profile and your Google listing

  4. 04

They order, pay and pick a collection time — no app

Questions people actually ask

Will I get fewer orders if I do this?

You do not have to choose. Most venues keep their marketplace listing for discovery and use their own page for repeat customers — the two do different jobs.

Does Settle bring me new customers?

No, and we will not pretend otherwise. A marketplace buys attention; your own page serves the attention you already have. That is exactly why it costs a fraction as much.

What do I actually pay per order?

The commission on the subtotal, plus whatever Stripe charges you for the card or TWINT payment. Nothing else per order, and nothing on tips.

How long does it take to set up?

Under an hour for most venues: add the menu, switch on takeaway, print the counter card. There is no hardware and nothing to install.
